The challenge was to write a song using only one chord. This is what I wrote.

Tell me a story about a man name Joe
Who can touch the sky but still feel low
His wife has left him for her new beau
Now he’s stuck at home and eating crow

Tell me the story about the man named Phil
Who lives in a cabin up on the hill
He once had a sister who’s name was Jill
But now she’s known as Mr. Bill

Once I was stressed but now, I’m free
I left my girl cause we couldn’t agree
She thought she was smart, but she was dopey
At least we agreed that she was sexy

Find me a place where I can rest my head
I gotta find me some peace before I’m dead
If you find me a girl who will share her bed
I’ll give up my rest and have sex instead

Once I was young but now, I’m old
It doesn’t get better or so I’ve been told
Every winter comes and I’m so cold
I would move down south if I could find some gold

Find me a girl who can really sing
And I’ll buy her a shiny diamond ring
If she’s good at doing almost everything
